Bharti Airtel reported 300% profit in the second quarter
Bharti Airtel, the world's largest telecom operator, grew its annual revenue relatively by 300% to ₹ 1734 crore in the September quarter. The company's operating income increased to ₹ 28,326 crore. This is 5.4% of the company’s growth.
Its revenue for the quarter ended June was ₹ 26,853 crore, up from ₹ 20,060 crore in the year-ago period, a growth of 13%.
Meanwhile, its ARPU rate for the September calendar rose to ₹ 153 from ₹ 143 last year, with revenue from mobile services up 20.3% to Rs 15,191 crore, according to a statement issued by Airtel.
Revenue from Airtel Payments Bank, Data, and digital services continues to rise. 5G service may see strong growth in the future. Our 480 million customers are in 16 countries. Therefore, revenue growth will be even better in the future. ”Bharti Airtel had posted a net loss of Rs 63 crore in the same quarter last year.
